Ploy's March product update

March has been a very exciting month for us at Ploy with a lot of platform stability changes and improvements behind scenes, along with some shiny new features that we're excited to share with you all. Take a look below

Detection sources

One customer service request we frequently see at Ploy, is understanding where we found an account in an integration. Was it via an OAuth token? SSO assignment? Email? Manually added?

To help answer these questions and provide a more robust lens into accounts and access, we've released account detection sources which gives you a single view to see exactly where we've detected all these accounts.

Member groups view

We've also updated the members page to be able to easily see, add and removed users from groups across all their integrations, giving you a single pane of glass for which you can manage users access to resources.

New member states

We've also completely revamped the employee (member's) directory page, now dividing users into 4 categories:

  • Active: Active employees from your configured member source of truth
  • Onboarding: Employees from your configured source of truth where the start date is in the future
  • Terminated: Employees from your configured source of truth where the end date is in the past
  • Unmanged: Active and inactive accounts that are not in your member source of truth (e.g. service accounts, guest accounts etc.

You can configure which integration is your source of truth by visiting the integration page, selecting that integration and marking it as 'Source of truth'.

And a whole heap of other stuff

As always there's also been a whole heap of other new functionality added to the platform:

  • Now pull in MS apps usage data
  • You can now configure the date trigger to run at a particular time of day
  • Hover over a variable in a flow to see what node it refers to
  • Export Forms responses to CSV
  • Rebuilt the Microsoft scanner to more accurately detect apps and SSO assignments
  • Flow trigger: Flow failed (great for getting alerts where a flow fails)
  • You now can clone/duplicate flows
  • You can now organise your Flows into folders
  • You can now filter apps based on custom fields
  • Flow control: Member has account in app check
